Sunset Villa sits atop a mountain on the meandering divide between two oceans.

The view to the east includes occasional ships passing upon the Atlantic Ocean. At night, cruise ships on the dark seat, under a tropical moon, can be an interesting “light show.”

The vista to the west is the Caribbean Sea. Portions of the Grenadines Islands archipeligo are clearly visible, particularly Tobago Cay, the nearby ring of islands that was the principal site of photography for The Black Pearl, the first of the Pirates of the Caribbean films.

Day trips to Tobago Cay on a crewed catamarin are simply awesome.

Longer term guests are greeted with a prepared, complimentary dinner, plus your first morning’s breakfast (details on Rates page). Day trips and picnics to our local beaches are made easy by a vehicle that is included with your weekly villa rental.

The villa is quiet and well-separated from the world at the end of a lightly-traveled concrete surfaced road. Trade breezes are virtually constant at this altitude. If you turn off the air conditioning at night, when all is quiet, the steady beat of the waves on the beach below will lull you to sleep. Our extensive, lush gardens are popular with hummingbirds, birds and butterflies. There are beautiful open beaches in the area.

Of course, Sunset Villa has a large, totally private swimming pool and deck furniture. In the morning, the only one who can see you are a few passing birds, so wake up by  jumping into the refreshing pool au naturel.
